Description

10 books created a toolbox of emotional regulation through activity for children, parents, and teachers — blending story, fun, and neuroscience.

INSPIRE scripted out all 10 stories in exact page-by-page storybook style. Each story blends an emotion + an activity + a neuroscience-backed regulation technique. That way, parents and teachers have a full set of tools in narrative form.

 Series: Chloe & Zena’s Brain-Boosting Adventures(10 Emotions + 10 Activities)

Book 1 of 10. Each book can target a different emotion + MRI-backed activity:

  1. Sadness → trampoline / cardio movement.
  2. Anger → 30-min walk + deep breathing.
  3. Anxiety → slow belly breathing + humming.
  4. Loneliness → singing/dancing with someone.
  5. Overwhelm → doodling/coloring.
  6. Restlessness → yoga stretches.
  7. Worry → nature walk (proven calming effect in MRI).
  8. Tired & unmotivated → cold shower + movement.
  9. Confusion → learning a new movement pattern (dance steps, coordination).
  10. Hopelessness → gratitude journaling + movement combo.

Each story can follow the same pattern:

  1. Emotion shows up (child feels sad, angry, lonely, worried).
  2. Zena & Chloe notice and name it.
  3. They try a neuroscience-backed activity (from MRI-supported evidence like movement, music, nature, breathing).
  4. Emotion shifts → joy, calm, focus.
  5. Lesson wrapped up in playful language.
